Are you looking for a way to speed up your spiritual growth, or to connect more deeply with the higher being, with the universe? Have you considered incorporating simple affirmations into your daily routine?
In this article, I will talk about the power of affirmations in spiritual practice, and precisely, about active affirmations. I will show you how these affirmations can transform your life.
So, before you start practicing any of the affirmations on this website, please read this explanation first. It will allow you to understand fully how active affirmations work and what you should be doing in order for them to be effective.
What Are Affirmations And How Do They Work?
In essence, affirmations are positive statements that you repeat regularly to help reprogram your subconscious mind.
They are used to challenge your mindset and can be used to overcome any negative thoughts, programs, thought patterns, paradigms, emotions, or limiting beliefs. Affirmations offer a subtle but powerful shift in your mindset. And this is the essence of what they can do. They help us rewire our thinking, providing a counter-narrative to the destructive thoughts that we often let define us.
Any mental program, for example feeling unworthy, is not a permanent state. It’s a thought pattern that can be decoded and replaced. And you can do that with affirmations.
Affirmations work by tapping into the power of intention and focus. They are not about denying the reality of life’s challenges, but rather, they offer a way to redirect your attention from the negativity.
What’s most important here is that when you consistently repeat such positive words, your mind begins to accept them as truth. This process helps to shift your perspective from one of lack and limitation, to one of abundance and possibility.
When you consciously choose words that uplift and inspire, you can create a more positive mindset and the life you desire.
Typical Affirmations From The Mind And Active Affirmations: What’s The Difference?
What Are Active Affirmations?
A person who is psychic checks what message, what words are coming that decode a particular mental program, such as anger or jealousy. Active affirmations* (see Disclaimer below) introduce permission not to feel this program at all. They neutralize and ultimately dismantle this program. So if you see that you have it, consciously release it, and then, introduce an active affirmation.
If anything negative comes up for you, an active affirmation can replace that old thought pattern. These affirmations put everything in order. They contain really powerful words, you just have to trust!
Active affirmations help you get rid of your mental programs. They are immediately active for most people, unless someone is specifically different (although those are really exceptions), but generally that’s how it is.
And if the affirmation was created specifically for you, the effect could be much stronger, because then it is created from inside of you, and that’s why you feel it most. Subconsciously you know it all, you just need to allow yourself to believe it.
Active affirmations are affirmations that open like flowers, that expect nothing, that allow you to live in a different way. Because if an affirmation is out of compulsion, out of greed, then unfortunately, it’s not gonna work. So affirmations such as ”Everything will be fine,” do not work, because this is not true.
Why Are Active Affirmations So Simple?
Active affirmations are so simple. The simplicity of these active affirmations is their greatest strength. They don’t require any complex mental gymnastics or intellectual reasoning. Rather, they ask you to close your eyes, feel your breath, and connect to the simple fact that you are alive.
In this moment of mindfulness, everything that feels like a burden, or any negative thought, story, or limiting belief, fades into the background. What remains is the radiant truth of life itself.
Why Should Affirmations Be Kept Simple?
The less specific the affirmation, the more uplifting it is, the more widely and deeply it transforms. The more you think or say affirmations like ‘I only love, I choose love, I love myself‘, etc., it just doesn’t work.
If someone has strong programs and says, ‘I love myself‘, not even an eyelid flutters. You repeat, ‘I love myself, I love myself, I love, I love, I love‘, and nothing happens. But it’s even worse, because your body shows that ‘he doesn’t love himself‘. This is stratification.
The more you start to love yourself, by giving yourself attention and time, by appreciating your body, by hugging a tree, and you start saying, ‘I love myself‘, it still doesn’t get in, but it starts to touch a little, shake a little.
But if you restore the act of will to yourself, so that now you really choose, then this is conscious work. It’s no longer a matter of affirmation, but of giving yourself a command: ‘I choose love, I choose to love myself‘. And this gets in smoothly.
It’s a matter of crossing that line where you choose, and enjoying it. Say, ‘Yes, now I choose. Now the responsibility is in me. And I am happy about it. I choose to love myself‘.
You just have to repeat the affirmation systematically. And then, you can actually say that it will happen in such a way that you say ‘love‘, and you feel ‘love‘. You say ‘tenderness‘, and you feel ‘tenderness‘. You say ‘affection‘, and you feel ‘affection‘, and that’s it. Because the body listens to commands. This is easy to learn, you just need to be systematic.
Let’s dive deeper into this so that you understand it fully.
For example, you have the program of stubbornness and you repeat the affirmation, “I allow myself to love tenderly.” Here, these words have nothing to do with stubbornness. Because if you’ve been stubborn for 10, 20, or 50 years, an affirmation like “I am free from stubbornness, I am gentle” doesn’t do anything. Because your mind thinks: ‘Hey you, do you think I’ll believe you? No’.
And all of a sudden, an active affirmation comes in. It is so gentle and so simple that it dissolves your stubbornness. And if someone is like that, there will be no stubbornness in them. Active affirmations clean up a lot of programs, so they transform.
Sometimes these active affirmations are downright abstract, but you can’t work through this program otherwise. So trust the affirmation, because it will not let you down. You will expand in energy from this affirmation. Feel it and let it flow through you.
Also, affirmations need to be repeated, but not in a way that you just read them to yourself and that’s it. But in a way that you feel them, you immerse yourself in them. This requires repetition.
Why Are Active Affirmations Effective?
Basically, active affirmations mean effective affirmations. They work because every word has codes recorded in it. In fact, everything is encoded. Not only do we have programs, but words, families, society, food, etc. have codes. Everything has vibrational patterns recorded through experiences.
So all of this has to be thrown out. And these affirmations work in such a way that they dissolve those codes. And what will remain? What remains is love and admiration for oneself, for food, etc…
For example, if there is no vibrational pattern recorded in you that food makes you fat, the food will stop making you gain weight. Or, if there is no vibrational pattern recorded in us where we define certain beauty standards, then we will all be beautiful. Can you feel it? It’s mind-blowing. What is left is enjoying everything. And those codes were shown for a reason, to say ‘No more. Now I’m the one creating this.’ And the active affirmation helps you with that.
Typical affirmations that come from the mind are not very effective. The typical affirmation “I love myself” is very popular, but nothing comes out of it. That’s because these words do not translate into how you feel. It’s like saying, “I can drive a car” when in reality you can’t. And your mind is thinking to itself, “Whatever. Talk to yourself.” This is effective, but very little, only 3 percent. The point is that the mind to which we are subject here on Earth will boycott it.
How do we create affirmations that are effective, meaning, they are active?
They are not supposed to have a final goal. For example, don’t say “I am love”, but “I allow myself to love”, “I allow myself to be loved”, “I choose love”.
But what if we don’t feel it, will even active affirmations become empty?
If you are someone who loves, then even if you don’t feel it, some kind of vibration and new vibrational patterns will come into you. Just allow yourself and say, “Let the best happen to me”. And let it happen.
Most of the affirmations you find on the Internet, about 90 percent of them, come from the mind. Let me explain a little better what this is all about.
For example, someone states, “I want to love myself.” He says: “I am love”, and his mind says: “Well, but you’re not.” And you keep repeating it over and over again, until there’s a clash.
Feeling is the speech of the vibrational pattern that’s recorded in you. You have to feel it, open up, and let it happen step by step. Always be content. It must progress little by little to prepare your body for this. So let it happen gently, step by step. And have the confidence that it is happening perfectly. Even if you don’t feel it or understand it just yet, it’s meant to be like this, because everything is perfect.
There’s a typical affirmation from the mind: “I love my life and every day I make it more beautiful.” It is positive, but effective only a little, 3 percent. The mind has connected the facts, ‘I love my life’ and ‘I make it more beautiful’. And then you go and meet someone who says something nasty to you. And you’re thinking: “Oh no, he said something bad to me again”. You don’t see any results here. The point is that the affirmation is supposed to work in such a way that it transforms your program, drop by drop. Although it often happens that these active affirmations are so intense that they immediately transform a lot.
There’s another typical affirmation from the mind: “I am ready for the best day of my life.” Both of these examples of typical affirmations have a goal – the first one wants to make the day more beautiful, and the second one wants the best day. So, the mind wants a more beautiful day and the best day. And goals need to be avoided here.
Instead, you should use affirmations that are so childish, frivolous. Then you feel them. You just feel this energy and you don’t want anything. And your mind gets confused, because you just dissolve and you want nothing, you expect nothing. And when you dissolve in love, when you are love, then everything becomes love.
So if you want to have a wonderful, abundant, rich life, or whatever life you want, just make yourself happy. Cultivate happiness in yourself, and then the vibrational pattern of happiness will translate into everything, into everything around, into every aspect.
There are certain key words in affirmations that activate the most.
We create patterns through delight. Patterns are recorded in us through emotions. Emotions show us what programs we have because emotions are indicators. Patterns are recorded, for example, through emotions of fear, anxiety, but also through emotions like being delighted or dissolving. And now, this has to be repeated for it to be recorded.
Therefore, for an affirmation to be active, it must not cause dissonance. It cannot convince us… you are smart, if you do not feel smart. Such statements, such affirmations, do not work. This is where key words are needed.
Here are a few key words that are used most often:
’I am dissolving’ – this is pleasant, unless someone has been drowning in the past, then this word is not appropriate.
’I feel tender’ – and you remember how you feel tender when you see a cute baby or a puppy, and it’s such a nice feeling, and your mind allows you to feel that tenderness.
’I am blooming’ – here, maybe you’re not literally blooming, but you’re comparing yourself to spring, to a flower.
’I choose’ – not yet, but I am already choosing.
But if something in you resists it, when your program is very deep, you must first use the word “I allow myself,” and then it will let go. The point is that your mind does not question this.
For the affirmation to be effective, it must be infused with feeling. It must be one that the mind does not question. You must dissolve, and not want anything.
And again, let’s take the example of a typical affirmation from the mind: “I love my life and I make it more beautiful each day.” It should look differently: “I dissolve with love and my each day becomes love.” The mind does not boycott here, because it does not understand it. It just dissolves with love. And yet, it cannot dissolve with love because it is not love yet.
Sublime affirmations are the best because they want nothing. For example, “I am all sky blue.” It makes no sense, doesn’t it? But this affirmation suddenly makes you feel like you are the blue of the sky. And suddenly, you feel that your anger, frustration, frustration, or some other negative emotions have disappeared, they are gone. Because you put something else on top of it. You dissolved the previous emotion by repeating the feeling. You are dissolving in this feeling.
Let’s take the example of a typical affirmation from the mind: “I am ready for the best day of my life.” Here again, the goal is set too high. It should sound differently: “It is me who is the most wonderful sensation.” And your mind asks: ‘What does sensation mean?’ So this doesn’t clash at all here. It’s not completely clear to the mind, so it says, ‘Okay, be your sensation’.
The mind does not question this. It is best to phrase affirmations with words, such as: ’I brighten’, ’I illuminate’, ’I shine’, ’I am filled with light’, ’I rise with light’, ’I choose light’. These are things that are universal. For example, ’I choose light’ and the mind gets confused, because how can you choose light? It goes crazy and says, ‘Well, let him choose it, whatever’. Then there’s no questioning of something that is not there.
It is possible to prepare many affirmations on any topic, affirmations that break down a specific program. But you have to do it step by step, depending on how deep you have the program recorded in you.
To Wrap It Up,
Affirmations are a very powerful tool for personal transformation. Anyone can benefit from using affirmations as they can be tailored to suit your individual needs. They are accessible to everyone, regardless of age or background. Whatever you’re looking for, whether it’s emotional healing, financial abundance, love, or simply greater peace of mind, there is an affirmation out there for you.
And by using them regularly and systematically, you can train your mind to focus on what you desire rather than what you don’t want. This shift in mindset can have a profound effect on all areas of your life, including health, relationships, career, and overall well-being. Affirmations can be helpful in aligning with your higher being.
There’s one common misconception about using affirmational practices. It’s that they require complex rituals or extensive time commitments. But in reality, these statements can be short and simple, and are incredibly empowering when you feel them and say them with sincerity and intention.
